We are delighted to share that two of our partner companies were recognised at the Financial Times and World Bank Group Africa Sustainable Futures Awards.

Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries took home the Local Manufacturing Award, while DTRT Apparel Group was Highly Commended in the same category. These awards celebrate “commercially viable initiatives that provide transformative, resilient and scalable solutions” - a perfect reflection of the innovative work both companies are doing.

Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries

Emzor is a leading manufacturer of essential medical products in Nigeria. The company is currently building West Africa’s first active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing plant, a game-changing development that will enable local production of vital medicines, including antimalarials. This milestone will significantly reduce reliance on imports and strengthen regional healthcare resilience.

DTRT Apparel

DTRT is the largest clothing manufacturer in West Africa, providing thousands of quality jobs in Ghana - the majority of whom ar women. The company has also pioneered an inclusive employment initiative through a partnership with the Ghana National Association of the Deaf, creating opportunities for individuals supported by the organisation.
